Course of events

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon Kayaking Tour

- Arrival at the meeting point in Skaftafell (please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time)

- Meet your experienced kayaking instructor/guide

- The adventure begins!

- Safety and itinerary briefing

- Receive your gear (dry suit, life jacket, paddle, and double kayak)

- Introduction to kayaking and kayaking techniques

- Practice kayaking under the guidance of your instructor

- Set off paddling into the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

- Learn about this incredible location and Iceland's glaciers

- Return to the original departure point

*40-minute drive to the second part of the excursion (transfer not included)

Falljökull Glacier Hiking Excursion

- Arrival at the meeting point in Skaftafell

- Meet your experienced glacier hiking guide

- Safety and itinerary briefing

- Receive your equipment (helmet, harness, ice axe, and crampons)

- Transfer to the starting point

- Introduction to glacier hiking, glacier hiking safety, and equipment use

- The adventure begins!

- Hiking on the Falljökull Glacier

- Return to the original departure point

Activity requirements

Please be advised that all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition, all participants must be in good physical health to take part in this excursion.

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the departure time.

This is a 2-part excursion, please note that there is a 40-minute drive between the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon kayaking tour and the Falljökull Glacier hiking excursion starting point, which is located at the
'Arctic Adventures (Skaftafell Base Camp), 228J+CPM, 785 Skaftafell, Iceland'.

Although it is extremely unlikely that you'll need it, bringing a change of clothing is highly recommended along with extra warm layers.

This excursion's difficulty level is labelled as 'easy'.
