Practical information
Allow 3 to 3.5 hours on site (welcome, equipment, briefing, transport time to the dive site, etc.)
- Meet at the centre at the specified time (no need to arrive early) for check-in and equipment.
- Dive briefing (safety, procedure, species to be seen)
- Transfer to the port and boat (2 minutes away by car or car pool)
- 5 to 20 minutes sailing on the boat (large comfortable zodiac) to the dive site
- 60-minute dive on the dive site, air consumption permitting
- Return to the centre (showers available at the centre and refreshments served after the activity)
- Rinsing and disinfection of equipment
- Debriefing: advice and information about your dive and the species encountered (identification by your instructors trained in underwater biology and with the help of bio-identification books).
All participants must have a minimum of Level 1 or Open Water Diver certification.
There must be no contraindications to diving.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
A dive computer and lamp can be rented, but this needs to be requested as soon as you have booked the activity.
You can upgrade to a nitrox dive for an additional 5€ pp. that you'll pay onsite.
After booking on Manawa, confirmation of the center according to availability and weather conditions.
It is forbidden to fly within 12 to 24 hours of a dive. Do not go up to high altitudes such as microlighting, paragliding or parachute jumping, or go hiking at altitude (Souffrière).
A supplement of €15 is payable to the centre if your last dive was more than 18 months ago, in accordance with the centre's General Terms and Conditions.
