Join a group and go snowshoeing near Vars la Forêt Blanche!
- Easy level.
- Small group of 8 people max.
Course of events
Please allow 3.5hrs in total for this activity, including a 3-hour hike.
- Meet your guide at the Refuge Napoléon Vars.
- Equipment (snowshoes and poles).
- Briefing on how to use your snowshoes and poles.
- Start a gentle ascent with explanations from your guide about the winter mountain environment.
- Take regular breaks to make the most of the scenery, animal tracks and heritage...
- Go downhill.
- Debrief with your guide.
- End of the activity.
Activity requirements
You need to be able to walk for half a day with regular breaks to take part in this hike.
A minimum of 5 participants is required for the activity to take place.
Special terms
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
People with motor disabilities and infants are not allowed to take part in the hike.
Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.
