Practical information
5 hour guided ascent up 300 meters to the main summit of the Breithorn (4’154 metres above sea level) from the Matterhorn Express Cablecar in Zermatt. This activity is suitable for beginner mountaineers.
Course of events
-Meet guide at the bottom of the Matterhorn Express station
-Buy ticket and ascend to Glacier Paradise station
-Safety and activity briefing
-Get equipped
-Begin the 300 metre ascent!
-Reach the main summit
-Descend back down (option to ski down in winter)
-End of activity
