Practical information

A 45-minute to 1-hour dog sledding excursion on the trails at Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne, as the driver of your own sled or as a passenger on board.

Course of events

- Meeting with the team at Au Chalet en Bois Rond's "Pavillon de l'Espace Plein Air" at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity

- Briefing on the activity, safety instructions and how to drive the sled

- Dog harnessing

- Depart for a 45-minute to 1-hour dog sled ride along the trails at Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne

- Back at the base, you will have time to pet the dogs to congratulate them before debriefing of the activity over hot chocolate

- If there are puppies in the kennels, meeting with them and cuddle time to end the activity

Activity requirements

Maximum weight per sled: 400 lbs / 180 kg

Minimum age to drive the sled: 16 years old

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure time.

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity as a sled driver.

Special terms

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and infants under 3 years old.

The composition of the group and the places on the sleds are at the guide's discretion.

If you wish to book a sleigh on your own, as a driver and without a passenger, please book x1 "Driver" (higher rate).

You can rent winter clothes on site for $30+tax per person.

Au Chalet au Bois Rond is not accessible by public transport, but the team has developed a partnership with a private transport/limousine service, Conciergerie du Terroir.
