Looking for a symbolic hike near Heraklion? Conquer Crete’s highest summit during this guided hike to Mount Ida!

- Distance: 12 km (7,4 miles).
- Maximum altitude : 2 456 m (8 058 ft).
Course of events
- Free transport from your hotel near Heraklion to the starting point of the hike (1.5hrs).
- Activity briefing.
- 7 hours of hiking : The duration of the excursion depends on weather conditions, participants skills and group size.
- Transport back to your hotel (1.5hrs).
Activity requirements
You must be able to walk a distance of 12 km (7,4 miles) to take part in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum number of 3 participants is required to run this activity.
Special terms
Free transport from/to your hotel is included as long as you are within the predefined pick-up area : on the coast between Paralia Fodele and Pirgos. You can see the area for free pick up here.
