Practical information
Discover the Verdon canyon on a half-day packraft trip! Come and try your hand at whitewater packraft and ride the rapids for almost 3 hours with Blue Secret!
- Meet opposite the Carajuan campsite
- Welcome by the instructor and briefing on the activity
- Drive (about 10 minutes) to the starting point
- Briefing on equipment and safety rules
- Preparation of equipment and boats
- Board the packraft and descend the rapids of the Gorges du Verdon
- Short swim in the rapids
- Return walk (approx. 20 minutes) to the meeting point
It is necessary to know how to swim and to know the basics of kayaking to participate in this activity.
A written parental authorisation is required for minors to take part in this activity.
Previous experience of a kayak excursion (going straight, turning, stopping on a lake).
A minimum number of 4 participants is required to run this activity.
The activity is dependent on the release of water from the EDF dam: if the activity cannot take place, another date or a refund will be offered.
