Kayak Trip on the Picanoc River from Ottawa-Gatineau and Visit to Mont Morissette

- Pick-up at your hotel in Gatineau / Ottawa (list of hotels concerned in the special conditions below) or go directly to the intersection of rue Wellington and rue Laval in Gatineau

- Shuttle bus journey to the partner canoeing base (about 1 hour and 15 minute drive)

- Equipment with a briefing on the course, safety instructions and paddle handling

- Departure for a 2.5-hour self-guided kayak trip down 5 km of the Picanoc River

- Returning to the base and de-equipping

- Journey to the Mont Morissette observation tower (about a 25-minute drive)

- Climb to the top of the tower, at an altitude of around 18 metres/1,200 feet, with lunch prepared by a local café

- Return to Gatineau, with a stop at La Cigale (about 1 hour and 15 minute drive) for an ice cream on the way

- Drop-off at the pick-up point in Gatineau or Ottawa and end of the activity

Maximum weight per kayak: 250 pounds (113 kg)

Children must be accompanied by an adult and be old enough to remain in a seated position for the entire duration of the excursion (excluding breaks at the riverside beaches).

This activity is not accessible to wheelchair users.
