Self-guided sunrise bike tour combining a vehicle tour to the summit of Haleakala Volcano to watch the sunrise followed by a self-guided bike tour down the volcano from an elevation of 6,500 feet back to the Bike Maui storefront.

-Begin bike ride at an elevation of 6,500 feet, on paved roads
-Board vehicle for transport around Kula residential area
-Bike ride resumes
-Stop in Makawao town for some shopping and breakfast
-Bike back to the Bike Maui shop
-Return gear

Participants must know how to ride a bike and have recent biking experience.
Participants must be taller than 4ft10 (125 cm) and weight under 300 pounds (136 kg) to participate in this activity.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant or disabled people.
The recommendations for layered clothing and sweaters are due to the cool temperatures at the summit of Haleakala.
