Practical information

This activity includes a half-day dog sledding excursion and an overnight stay. The total duration is approximately 20 hours.

Course of events

- Arrive at the starting point in Jondal

- Meet the guide and the husky dogs

- Safety briefing and instructions

- Set up the equipment

- The dog sledding adventure begins!

- Dog sledding excursion on Folgefonna Glacier

- Return to the campsite

- Dinner around a campfire

- Spend the night in tents

- Breakfast the following morning

- Say goodbye

Activity requirements

Please note that you must pay a toll fee to access the meeting point. The road leading up to the ski centre is a toll road owned and operated by Jondal Municipality, with a cost of 100 NOK per vehicle. The toll fee includes parking and contributes to snow clearing and maintenance.

Special terms

For this activity, you will drive the sled yourself. There is an option of riding in the sled as a passenger with the guide if you prefer.
