Practical information
At the Nungesser aquatic centre in Valenciennes, under the supervision of a state-certified instructor, you will receive the theoretical and practical instruction you need to pass your Level 1 scuba diving course.

Dive and return to the surface safely
Know how to behave in a group at 20 m
Perform technical actions (empty my mask, remove/replace my regulator, etc.)
Respect my environment when in the water
Communicate with my supervisor
Act as a relay for my supervisor with a team member in difficulty
Level 1 allows you to dive with a supervisor to 20 m (PE-20).
It is possible to go on to an intermediate level: supervised diver 12 m (e.g. people who do not have the time to follow a full Level 1 course).
PE-12 or PE-20 divers (Level 1) can also progressively become autonomous divers by passing the 12 m autonomous diver level (PA-12).
You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity.
You are required to sign a medical waiver to participate in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
Please arrive 10-minutes before the departure time.
This activity is not open to pregnant people, people with physical or motor disabilities, infants or pets.
