Practical information

2 hour guided winter hike of Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park plus scenic stops along the Bow Valley Parkway.

Course of events

-Pick up at Banff Train Station

-Meet Guide

-Drive down Bow Valley Parkway to Johnston Canyon (20 minutes)

-Make stops at scenic viewpoints along the way

-Arrive at Johnston Canyon for 2 hour hiking tour

-Receive activity and safety briefing

-Start guided hike to lower falls (2.5km total return trip)

-Optional: Continue onwards to UpperFalls (5km total return trip)

-Drive back to Banff (20 minutes)

-Drop off in Banff

This tour requires a minimum number of participants in order to take place. In the event that the tour cannot take place due to partcipant levels, you will be offered an opportunity to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Meeting point:
Banff Train Station, 327 Railway Avenue, Banff. Please meet your guide in front of the main train station building by the large flagpole.
