Practical information
Alone or in a group, discover the incomparable sensations of guided long route climbing at Buis-les-Baronnies, in the Drôme department.
Why join Alma on this outing? To admire the breathtaking scenery, in good spirits, on routes ranging from 3 to 4 hours of exceptional adventure in the heart of nature, on the Rocher du Saint-Julien.
To find your dynamic and passionate instructor, there's only one way to go: from the centre of Buis-Les-Baronnies, cross the bridge over the Ouvèze's river, go past the municipal campsite, then follow the road to the right until you come to a car park with dry toilets (Parking du Ravin de Rieuchaud), just before the St-Julien's gîte.
Get ready for a day full of challenges, laughter and exceptional views!
The activity begins with a telephone call to set up a personalised programme, adapted to your level and wishes.
After the introductions, it's time for the safety briefing. The necessary equipment (helmets, harnesses, climbing shoes) is discovered and distributed, then checked to put everyone at ease before setting off.
Approach to the wall: together, we start a short hike through magnificent scenery to the foot of the climbing route.
Climbing the route: the adventure begins! We climb as a group, taking our time to make the most of every moment. You'll be guided step by step, with technical advice and encouragement to help you feel confident.
Abseiling down: after savouring the summit, we abseil back down, an experience just as exciting as the ascent.
Finally, at a leisurely pace, we return to the starting point (Ravin de Rieuchaud car park, Adret de Saint-Jullien, 26170 Buis-les-Baronnies) to share our impressions and celebrate the day's achievements.
