Practical information
A 29-km course in the heart of nature between Saint-Julien-de-Lampon and Beynac-et-Cazenac: 6 hours of easy navigation, letting yourself be carried along by the current of this part of the Dordogne River, with the possibility of taking a short swim and a picnic lunch along the way and admire some of the region's castles (Rouffillac, Fénelon, Monfort, La Malartrie, Castelnaud, Marqueyssac, Fayrac and Beynac), as well as some of France's most beautiful villages, La Roque-Gageac and Castelnaud-la-Chapelle
- Welcome at the Canoë Cap Evasion base in Saint-Julien-de-Lampon (free parking on site)
- Distribution of life jackets and choice of kayaks or canoes
- Briefing on paddle handling and safety instructions
- Launch of the canoes/kayaks and departure for a 6-hour trip on the Dordogne to Beynac-et-Cazenac (29 km)
- End of the course at the Fayrac bridge, then shuttle bus back to the base (approx. 35-minute drive): return by bus at 5.30 p.m.
- Arrival at the Canoe Cap Evasion base, return of equipment and end of the activity
All participants must know how to swim and put their head underwater to take part in this activity.
All children aged less than 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Proof of entitlement will be required for children aged 5 to 9 who are entitled to half-price rates.
Pets are welcome to join this activity.
