Practical information
Course of events
- Arrive at the dive centre in Marathopolis
- Download PADI e-learning tool for theory (approximately 15 minutes)
- Safety briefing and instructions
- Receive scuba diving equipment (wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, tank and weights)
- Travel to the dive site
- Practice safety skills in shallow water
- First dive in the Skalakia reef (maximum depth 6m / 19ft)
- Return to the dive centre for debriefing
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
For this activity, you must not have any respiratory problems (exertional asthma), heart problems, ENT problems, lung problems, diabetes or epilepsy.
Special terms
Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
