Practical information
Go canyoning in Madeira and discover the magical natural world that this Portuguese island holds. Follow an expert instructor as you climb, jump, abseil, and swim on this wonderful adventure. There are different canyons that you might descend, depending on weather conditions and your own sport level. However, they are all intermediate canyons, so even though you don't need previous experience to participate, you should have good physical condition. Sign up now!

You must be able to swim (or at least be comfortable in the water).
If you suffer from vertigo (not fear of heights), canyoning is not necessarily recommended.
Good physical condition is essential for canyoning. The minimum requirement is to be able to walk easily for 2 hours on difficult terrain and to have stable feet.
You must wear one pair of sports shoes (without flat soles) for the canyoning activity. Shoes will get wet, so don't forget to take a second pair of shoes to change into after the activity.
Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.
