Practical information
A day dedicated to discovering the underwater world of the Cerbère-Banyuls National Nature Reserve with a self-guided snorkelling excursion in the morning (40 to 45 minutes in the water), followed by a first diving experience in the afternoon (20 minutes immersion at a maximum depth of 6 metres).
- Reception at the Plongée Cap Cerbère diving centre (free parking on site)
- Equipment in the changing rooms
- Board the boat at around 10 a.m. and sail to the dive site (5 to 15 minutes approx.)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Autonomous launch for 40 to 45 minutes of snorkelling under the instructor's supervision from the boat
- Return onboard the boat, then sail back to the dive centre (approx. 5 to 15 minutes)
- Disembarkation and de-equipping in the changing rooms with the possibility of a shower
- Lunch break (not included) before the second meeting at 2 p.m.
- Equipment in the changing rooms
- Boarding the boat and navigation to the dive site (approx. 5 to 15 minutes)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Launch for a 20-minute dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres, with 1 instructor per participant
- Return on board the boat with the possibility of snorkelling while waiting for the other divers to end their dive
- Sailing back to the dive centre (approx. 5 to 15 minutes)
- Disembarkation and de-equipping in the changing rooms, with the option of a shower
- Debriefing, receipt of your first dive diploma and end of the activity
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and disabled people.
The activity is divided into 2 parts: the first one from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the second one from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The break between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. is not supervised and not included in the activity.
Non-snorkellers are not allowed on board the boat.
