Course of events

- Meeting with the instructor at the meeting point agreed with him once your booking has been confirmed

- Briefing on the course of the lesson

- Start of the avalanche safety lesson, lasting around 3 hours: presentation of equipment, how to use it, etc.

- End of the activity

Objectives

Discovering and learning :

- The benefits of self-rescue
- Basic principles of DVA operation (waves, etc.)
- Notions of interference
- Simple and double control
- Different search phases (1st signal, approximate, fine)
- Sounding techniques
- Shovelling technique
- Alert message (who to call, message content)

Activity requirements

A minimum number of 3 participants is required for this activity to take place.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Skis and snowshoes are not required, as the course is on foot.

If you wish, you can arrange a different meeting time with the instructor once your booking has been confirmed.
