Practical information
Come and spend a night camping in winter in Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier and discover how to adapt to the temperatures and cook in winter.
- Meeting with the guide in Old Quebec
- Shuttle bus to Jacques-Cartier National Park (approx. 45-minute drive)
- Beginning of the first day of winter camping discovery with a look at different themes (managing the cold, winter clothing, camping equipment, winter cooking, building a snow shelter, etc.)
- Night under the stars in a tent
- After breakfast, free hike to discover the national park
- Return to Quebec City by shuttle bus after lunch and end of the activity
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Winter activities include transport from Old Quebec. When you make your reservation, a seat is automatically reserved on the shuttle. Please contact the guide if you wish to make your own way to Jacques-Cartier National Park (no discount).
Quatre Natures believes that there is no such thing as bad weather in winter. The activity always takes place. In the event of a situation where the temperature is extreme (-45 C⁰) or the amount of snow is not adequate, the Quatre Natures team will contact you directly.
If necessary, you can rent winter clothing directly from Quatre Natures website.
