Practical information
Pick-up is available from the following locations, please specify when booking:
- Kiruna Tourist Office
- Arctic Gourmet Cabin (only available for guests of the accommodation)
- Mattarahka (only available for guests of the accommodation)
Please be ready at the pick-up location 15 minutes before the activity start time.
- Meet at Camp Ripan or pick up from listed locations (please specify when booking)
- Put on your winter gear (thermal overalls, boots, hat, and mittens)
- Scenic drive to the Husky kennels in Kiruna
- Arrival
- Welcome and meet the Huskies
- Safety briefing and driving lesson for dog sledding
- The adventure begins!
- Self-drive dog sled, switching drivers halfway (approx. 45 minutes driving each)
- Return to the base
- Dog massage
- Delicious lunch
- Mindfulness course
- Say goodbye to your four-legged friends
- Return transfer to Kiruna
Pick-up is also available from the Icehotel for an additional fee, please contact your instructor in advance to arrange.
