Practical information
Take off on one of the most beautiful helicopter tours in the world!
Starting at Lake Abraham and reaching an altitude of 10,000 feet (3,048 m), you'll see the Columbia Icefield in the distance, the largest in the Canadian Rockies.
Next, you'll skirt the mountain range, flying over the Saskatchewan River and the David Thompson Highway below. You'll also see Mount Wilson, at an altitude of 3,206 metres, which has its own ice field.
You'll pass Michelle Lakes, twin alpine lakes separated by a 15-metre waterfall, as well as Mount Cline and the 6 glaciers: Cline, White Goat, Lion, Lioness, Resolute and Hanging!
What's more, you'll enjoy a 1-hour snowshoe hike in the heart of nature...
Finally, you'll enjoy a photo safari based around a unique and impressive phenomenon: the appearance of frozen methane bubbles at different depths of Lake Abraham!
