Practical information

Day trip departing from Montreal including an 8 to 10 km sled dog ride (as driver or passenger on the sled), time with the husky pack and a snowshoe hike.

Course of events

- Meet at Radisson metro station in Montreal

- Minibus journey with guide/driver to Kinadapt in Rawdon (approx. 1 hour's drive)

- Safety instructions, help with harnessing your sleigh and an introduction to sleigh driving.

- Departure for an 8 to 10 km dog sled ride

- Returning the sled to the kennel and removing the equipment

- Lunch in a sugar shack with the guide who will tell you all about dog sledding

- Guided snowshoe hike with several free dogs

- Dog feeding

- Return to Montreal by minibus (about 1 hour's drive) and end of the experience

Activity requirements

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Minimum age for driver: 15 years, depending on experience and physical condition (please contact the guide directly for more information).
