Practical information
This course consists of 3 different components: an eLearning theoretical lesson, a practical session in the pool, and one open water drive from the shore. This is a "try dive", which means that it does not lead to a PADI certification, but you will receive a PADI digital certificate of completion in the end.
- Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to your instructor
- Paperwork and Liability Releases
- Theoretical eLearning lesson
- Scuba equipment distribution
- Practical session in the pool - Carry out certain exercises
- Open water dive - Approx 25 minutes and reaching a depth of 6 to 12 meters
- Return to the diving center
- Return of equipment
- Certificate distribution and end of activity
On this activity you will:
- Learn how to prep your gear
- Learn to move around underwater with your equipment
- Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater
- Pick up the key skills that you’ll use during your scuba dives
- Have fun exploring the underwater world
All participants under 18 must provide written parental consent.
Please note that you must bring a medical certificate from your GP dated within the last 3 months stating that you are allowed to practice this activity.
You must be able to swim to participate in this activity.
Please note that you cannot fly for 24 hours after your last scuba dive.
Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant or disabled people.
