1 hour buggy ride from Reykjavik
From Reykjavik, you'll head off in the direction of Lake Hafravatn, driving over a variety of terrain.
You will then head towards Peak Mountain, the high point of your tour. Here you can see the Hengill mountain range, Iceland's third most active volcanic system, as well as Hellisheiði, the capital's geothermal power station.
Spectacular views of Faxaflói Bay and the entire capital region, as well as the Bláfjöll and Esja mountain ranges, await you.

Tracks are dependent on weather and trail conditions.
All hotels downtown are in a no-pick-up zone by the city. Therefore you will need to walk to the nearest bus stop. You can check www.busstop.is for available bus stops.
