Practical information
A paragliding flight in Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet taking advantage of the lift to give you 30 to 35 minutes of flying time, the longest of all the flights on offer and therefore the best for making the most of the experience, while giving you the chance to try your hand at piloting.
Flights take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Please plan to spend around 1.5 hours on site in total.
- Meeting with the instructor at the Air Alpin Parapente school
- Briefing on the course of the activity
- Walk to the take-off site, right next to the school
- Preparation of equipment for the flight, including safety briefing
- Take off for a 30 to 35-minute paragliding flight at Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet (30 minutes for participants weighing between 176 lbs/80 kg and 198 lbs/90 kg)
- Soft landing either at the take-off point or lower down in Lumbin depending on wind conditions (if landing in Lumbin, return to the take-off point by shuttle bus, unless you have specified to the instructor before the start of the activity that you wish to finish the activity in Lumbin)
- Equipment storage and end of the activity
For safety and equipment reasons, please respect the following restrictions:
- Minimum weight: 88 lbs / 40 kg
- Maximum weight: 198 lbs / 90 kg
- Maximum height: 190 cm
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please remember to wear suitable clothing (covering arms and legs), particularly shoes for medium-mountain hiking, trail running or jogging.
Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor directly the day before your flight to confirm the meeting point and time (from April to September, it is possible to have a meeting point at Saint-Hilaire's Tourist Office).
Depending on the weather conditions on the day of the activity, your flight may be rescheduled for safety reasons.
Photos and videos are available at an additional fee of €25, to be paid onsite.
