Sólheimajökull Glacier Hiking Excursion on the Southern Coast

- Pick-up in Reykjavík (may take up to 30 minutes)

- Approx. 2 hour 15 minutes minibus journey to the first stop at Skógafoss waterfall

- Head to the Sólheimajökull glacier (approx. 15-minute drive) for the glacier hike

- Stop at Reynisfjara beach south of Vík

- Return by minibus to Reykjavík with a stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall on the way (approx. 50-minute drive from Vík)

Hiking boots must be worn: it will not be possible to add the crampons required for the activity to other footwear.

It is very important to wear warm clothing, preferably waterproof so that you can enjoy the excursion to the full.

This activity is not recommended for people

- with heart conditions;

- who are sensitive to motion sickness or suffer from a back injury.
