Course of events

- Pick-up in Reykjavík (may take up to 30 minutes)

- Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes drive by minibus to Borgarnes

- Stop at the basalt organs of Gerðuberg (approx. 30-minute drive)

- Drive to Arnarstapi, a fishing hamlet about 1 hour's drive from Gerðuberg, then on to Djúpalónssandur beach and Dritvík cove (about 20 minutes' drive)

- Final stop at Kirkjufell and its mountain (approx. 50-minute drive)

- Return by minibus to Reykjavík (approx. 2.5 hours drive)

Activity requirements

A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.

It is very important to wear warm clothing, preferably waterproof, and good hiking boots so that you can enjoy the excursion to the full.
