Course of events

Please allow 3.5hrs in total for this activity, including 2hrs of canyoning.

  • Meet your guide in Corippo.
  • 15 min approach walk to the canyon.
  • Safety briefing.
  • Practice various abseiling techniques, take a small test jump, and experience a short slide.
  • Excursion (2 hours in the canyon).
  • The tour concludes with a slide that will drop you directly into the Vogorno Reservoir, its height determined by the water level of the lake.
  • To wrap up the adventure, you'll swim across the lake in just a few minutes and return to the car after a short 15-minute walk.
  • This is also the perfect time to decide whether to stop and enjoy a meal at one of the two typical Ticino grottos in Corippo.
Activity requirements

Abseiling and canyoning experiences are not necessary to take part in this excursion.

However, you must have average swimming ability, good general health, and be sure-footed.

A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

Special terms

Due to unpredictable weather conditions, your guides reserve the option to change the canyon and start time if necessary.

Contact lenses or glasses are no problem with canyoning. If you wear glasses, please bring glasse cords and a waterproof case to transport the glasses in the canyon, if necessary.
