Practical information
Day 1
- Arrival in Brest harbour in the late afternoon - if you arrive earlier, you can enjoy the city.
- Meet your boatsman who will welcome you on his boat, settle in and discover life on board.
- A friendly evening and diner with your boatsman before departure.
- Night in Brest.
Day 2
- Breakfast on the boat.
- 28 km hike on the GR34, which can be reduced to 18 km.
- Points of interest: forts, old batteries, stele, lime kiln, Vauban tower, Notre-Dame de Rocamadour chapel, boat cemetery, heritage house, painting galleries.
- Diner and night in the boat.
Day 3
- Breakfast on the boat.
- You can do a loop (GR34 or PR trail; 17km) to go around Camaret-Sur-Mer and flank Camaret-Sur-Mer before setting sail again towards Brest.
- Points of interest: Coecilian manor, Lagatjar alignments.
You will be able to discuss another itinerary with your boatsman: 1st night in Brest, 2nd and 3rd nights in Camaret with the Tour de Camaret on the 2nd day and return to Brest on the 3rd day.
Sailboat accommodation is not suitable for claustrophobic or overweight people.
Please plan to arrive at the port in the late afternoon the day before departure.
Please inform the boatsman of any dietary restrictions or health problems.
Please note the layout of the yacht: 2 cabins + saloon (2 single berths, ideally for children).
Meeting time: hikers leave early in the morning and arrive at the boat in the late afternoon depending on the hike route.
Departure point: once you have made contact with the boatsman, you can decide together on a specific meeting point according to your preferences.
