Activity requirements

Please be advised that all participants must know how to swim.

In addition, please make sure to dress according to the weather (in spring and autumn, this may include wool gloves and a hat).

Cotton clothing is not recommended, because when it gets wet it wicks the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Special terms

Ferries are free for pedestrians and run during the morning and afternoon from Svolvær. We recommend parking your car in the free parking lot just next to the ferry harbour in Svolvaer before boarding the ferry. The meeting point is then situated very close to the harbour on Skrova Island.

Please note that all participants use double kayaks during this excursion. You will therefore be sharing with another person (if alone, this may be the guide).

Dry suits are available at no additional cost on rainy or cold days.
