Discover Paragliding in Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet, near Grenoble

Please plan to spend half a day on site.

• Meeting with the instructor at the Air Alpin Parapente school
• Briefing on the course of the activity
• Walk to the school slope, right next to the school
• Initiation on the school slope for 1 to 2 hours: presentation of the equipment + acquisition of the basic movements for taking off and managing the landing + short slope flight
• Theoretical briefing during preparation for your first flight: presentation of the equipment + flight mechanics + flight plan and approach
• Discovery tandem flight with dual control: 15 to 20 minutes of flight during which you will take control of the paraglider
• Soft landing either at the take-off point or lower down in Lumbin depending on wind conditions (if landing in Lumbin, return to take-off point by shuttle bus)
• Equipment storage at the school, debriefing and end of the activity

For safety and equipment reasons, please respect the following restrictions:

• Minimum weight: 88 lbs / 40 kg
• Maximum weight: 198 lbs / 90 kg
• Maximum height: 190 cm

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please remember to wear suitable clothing (covering arms and legs), particularly shoes for medium-mountain hiking, trail running or jogging.

You will have to pay 7€50 on the spot for the insurance.

Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor directly the day before your activity to confirm the meeting time (except on weekends when the meeting time is 9 a.m.).
