Practical information
This course is designed for divers who have passed their PADI Open Water level and wish to progress: the aim of this course is to enable you to become more at ease underwater for more flexible diving
- Meeting point at the Epir Plongée diving school where you will familiarise yourself with the team
- A half-day theory course 2 hours before your dives (can be done online) - videos, MCQs and exams are scheduled for the last day of the course
- Quick presentation of the information you need to know to enter the water and safety protocols
- Fitting of a wetsuit and full equipment
- Sailing for a maximum of 25 minutes by boat (most sites are within a 10 minutes radius, the furthest being 25 minutes away)
- Launch for around 45 minutes of underwater exploration (the course includes 5 dives - you can choose to spread them over 3 different days)
- Return to the dive center for a debriefing and planning of the next dives
- Complete 5 dives
- Plan and complete scuba dives
- Avoid problems that can be encountered underwater
You will complete 5 scuba dives in a natural environment, 2 of which are obligatory and 3 optional:
Underwater orientation - obligatory
Deep water – obligatory (generally between 18 – 30 meters)
For the optional you can choose among: underwater photography / drift / naturalism / wreck / buoyancy
An Open Water Diver certificate is required to partake in the activity.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
For this activity, you must not have any of the following contraindications (respiratory problems (exertional asthma), heart problems, ENT problems, lung problems, diabetes or epilepsy). If in doubt, please contact us or ask for medical advice.
