Practical information
First level PADI diver course covering 3 of the first 5 chapters and the first 3 open water training dives to obtain the certificate authorising you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters
- Meet up at the Epir Plongée diving school where you will get to know the team
- Theoretical lessons begin with a fun video
- Quick presentation of the information you need to know to enter the water and safety protocols
- Fitting out with a wetsuit and full equipment
- Sail for a maximum of 25 minutes by boat (most sites are within a 10 minutes radius, the furthest being 25 minutes away)
- Launch for around 45 minutes of underwater exploration (the course includes 3 dives - you can choose to spread them over 3 different days)
- Return to the dive centre for a debriefing and planning of the next dives
- Master buoyancy, this includes descending and ascending in the water and using the breathing apparatus underwater.
- Preserve your body heat in the water, become hydrodynamic and learn how to dive with a buddy
- Awareness of underwater life – how to scuba dive responsibly
- Avoid problems that can be encountered underwater
A first dive certificate is required to partake in the activity.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
