Practical information
You will meet with the instructor in the beach, where he will introduce himself and take you to the starting spot.
The lesson lasts ten hours and will be adapted as you progress during the lesson.
- When you reach the meeting point, Pawel will choose the best spot to train, depending on wind conditions, and the course will start.
- The idea is to spend as little time as possible on the shore, so you will learn a few basics and then dive in.
- Your level of expertise will decide the size of your board, and some of the more specific teachings, but generally, you will learn about the theory of the wind, practice the jab and tack, learn how to use a harness, how to position yourself just right, with feet inside the foot straps, and how to do a beachstart and waterstart.
- Pawel will teach you as much as he can in the amount of time you have chosen for the class (10 hours) and then let you keep enjoying the beautiful Tarifa.
Participants must be at least 7 years old and have a written parental consent or be present at the moment of the lesson.
All participants must know how to swim.
The starting times might be modified days before the activity due to weather conditions.
