Practical information
You will enjoy 3 days of surfing on the famous Famara Beach and you will be able to strengthen your surfing skills. On the first day we will give you a theoretical introduction to the postures, safety measures, type of waves and more. Afterwards you will enter the water with our instructors and begin the real surfing experience.
You'll take your first waves and slowly feel like you've found your balance and are able to control the direction of the board. The next two days will be an opportunity to put everything you've learned to the test and gradually gain more confidence to get further from the shore and catch bigger and faster waves.
* 9:30 Our team will pick you up in your hotel (except from Playa Blanca)
* 10:00 We will arrive at Famara Beach and get ready to start. You will receive your neoprene and board. If you are starting you will receive a soft board and if you have some practice you can ask for a hard one (long or short).
* 10:20 Once you put your neoprene and you pick your board, we will be ready to do a warming up on the beach. We will make sure that your body is ready to start practicing surf, warming up is fundamental to avoid any kind of injuries!
* 10:35 We will have a basic theory lesson about the correct postures and a security briefing about the tie and the possible currents.
* 10:50 - 2:00pm We don't lose any time! You will spend the rest of the morning in the water, catching your first waves.
* Around 2:40pm you will be back in your hotel.
Our instructors will be always by your side, helping you out to choose the correct wave, pushing you if necessary meanwhile you paddle and the most important thing, taking care of you at each moment.
You must be at least 7 years old to participate and have written permission from your parents or legal tutors.
You must know how to swim.
Pick up only if you are in Puerto del Carmen.
For the locations (Tias, Playa Honda, Arrecife, San Bartolomé, Macher, Puerto Calero) it will be 10€ extra to be added to the price of the surf lesson.
Pick up service from Playa Blanca is not offered.
