Practical information
Take a 5-hour snowmobile ride near Montreal and hit the snowy trails of the Laurentians at top speed!
Please allow 5 hours 30 minutes in total for this activity, including 5 hours of snowmobile riding.
- Meet your guide.
- Short briefing on the operation of your snowmobile and safety rules.
- 5-hour snowmobile ride. There are three possible stops, depending on the level of your group: at the kennel, at the viewpoint and at Beaver Lake.
- In the middle of the ride, you'll enjoy a lunch break at a snowmobile lodge.
- Debriefing.
The minimum age is around 12, but the regulations are based on the size of the child, who must have his or her feet touching the running boards (ability to hold on securely as a passenger).
You must be 18 years old and have a driving licence to drive a snowmobile. You must bring your physical licence with you; copies are not accepted.
A credit card pre-authorization of $2500/snowmobile rented must be made.
Please arrive 30 minutes in advance.
For very cold temperatures (-20°C and below), Aventures Plein Air offers hand and toe warmers for your comfort.
The price of the activity is per snowmobile, choose "driver + passenger" to be 2, or "driver" to be alone on the snowmobile.
There is an extra charge of $23 inc VAT for complete cold weather equipment.
A return shuttle transfer from Montreal to the meeting place is available: the cost is $100 + tax per person (a minimum of 2 people is required for transport).
Please inform the instructor if you have any dietary restrictions. There are 3 options: regular, white meat or vegetarian.
