Rafting on the Gave de Pau near Lourdes

Please allow 3.5hrs in total for this activity, including around 2 hours of rafting.

• Meet at Le Saillet campsite in Lestelle-Bétharram, park in front of the gate then walk inside and look for the white tent.
• The meeting point is in fact the arrival point for the rafting trip (St Pé de Bigorre - Lestelle-Bétharram), and you will be taken to the departure point by mini-bus.
• The choice of boat (8-seater raft, 3/5-seater mini raft or kayak-raft) is made on site with the guide's advice.
• Set up the equipment.
• Briefing by your instructor on the activity, equipment and safety rules.
• Launching the boats.
• Rafting descent of around 2 hours.
• Return journey by shuttle bus to the meeting point.
• Return of equipment and debriefing.

You need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.

A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity to take place.

This activity depends on the weather: if the activity cannot take place because of the weather, you will be offered another date or a refund.
