Practical information
The canyon of Saut du Gendarme is located north of the Massif Pitons du Carbet - it's a succession of abseils, natural pools, river walk, and jumps. The descent includes 7 abseils of a maximum height of 15 meters.
- 15 minutes approach walk
- 2.5 to 3.5 hours of descent
- 5 minutes return walk
Activity requirements
To participate in this activity you will have to be a minimum sporty.
hildren can participate from the age of 10 and must be at least 130 cm.
Special terms
Depending on the size of groups (from 2 to 12 people), the departure for the afternoon will be at 2 or 3 pm.
Canyoning with TropiCanyon is open all year depending on weather conditions.
A minimum of 5 participants is required to validate the trip.
