Book your activity
Practical information
- Pick up at your accommodation by boat if it has a pontoon accessible to the team's boat, or at a meeting point determined in advance with the team
- Departure for a 3.5 to 4 hours outing: whale watching with explanations from the guide, animal observation and finally launching if conditions allow (if not, the boat will go in search of other cetaceans to observe them in turn and see if it will be possible to swim with them or not)
- Return to your pick-up point to drop you off and finish the activity
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
Pregnant people are not advised to participate in this activity as the ocean can be very rough.
Please contact the instructor as soon as you arrive in Bora Bora.
The instructor will contact you the evening before the activity at around 8 p.m. to confirm the exact time of the pick-up, which will take place by boat (either at your accommodation if there is safe access to the sea for the boat, i.e. with sufficient depth, a sandy bottom, free of coral and not on the flat shore, and if there is a pontoon large enough to accommodate the boat; or at a pre-arranged meeting point close to your accommodation). The pick-up time shown on the calendar corresponds to the start time of the hotel pick-up and ends approximately 1 hour later.
If you don't have your own snorkelling equipment, the instructor can provide it for you, as long as you specify your fin size when you receive your booking confirmation.
If you have to return during the day, it will not be possible to shorten the excursion. Make sure you choose a date when you don't have to return.
Private tours and renting a GoPro camera (with an SD card) are available upon request.
Wild animals are unpredictable; we cannot guarantee that you will see them during this activity.
