Lower Besorgues canyon - Lower Besorgues Canyon in Ardèche

Practical information

For 1h30, descend the lower part of the Besorgues canyon in a small group of 12 people maximum.

Characteristics of the lower canyon :

Approach walk: 10 minutes

Duration of descent: 1h30

Jumps of up to 6 metres maximum (no jumps compulsory)

Natural slides (which you can do again)

Return walk: 15 minutes

Course of events

- Meet at Les Intraterrestres car park, near the Base Canyon de la Besorgues, 07600 Labastide-sur-Bésorgues

- Participant equipment

- Quick briefing on safety rules

- 10-minute approach walk to the canyon

- Briefing by your instructor on the basic rules of canyoning

- 1.5 hours of water and hiking, jumps up to 6 metres (not compulsory) and slides

- 15-minute walk back to the meeting point

Activity requirements

It is imperative to be able to swim and to be in good physical condition to do this activity.

No previous canyoning experience is required to participate.
