Glacier Hike on the Falljökull Glacier from Skaftafell

- Meeting with the guide at the Arctic Adventures base in Skaftafell

- 15-minute drive to the foot of the Falljökull glacier

- Briefing on the activity, safety instructions and equipment

- 30-minute approach walk to the glacier

- Start of the glacier hike, lasting around 3 hours (depending on the day's weather conditions)

- 30-minute return walk to the vehicles, de-equipping and end of the activity

Hiking boots must be worn: it will not be possible to add the crampons required for the activity to other footwear.

It is very important to wear warm clothing, preferably waterproof, so that you can enjoy the excursion to the full.

Please give yourself plenty of time to drive from Reykjavík: in good conditions, the journey takes approx. 4.5 hours without stops, but with poor weather or road conditions, the journey will take longer.
