Practical information
The activity can be adapted to the group!
Day 1
- 9.30 a.m. Welcome participants at the meeting point and briefing on the course
- 10.15 a.m. Start of the hike, including foraging, collecting edible plants, observing the environment (fauna, flora, geography) and finding water
- 1 p.m. Theoretical approach to survival
- 4 p.m. Arrival at the bivouac site: preparation of fire, shelter, meal and trapping
- 8 p.m. Post-hunting meal and impressions of the day
- 11 p.m. Sleep in the shelters
Day 2
- 8 a.m. Wake up, set the traps, light the fire, have breakfast and share your impressions of the night
- 10 a.m. Departure, dismantling the shelters and cleaning up the bivouac area
- 10.30 a.m. Orienteering walk with map reading, sun orientation, topography, compass, snack gathering and theoretical approach to active survival
- 4 p.m. Return to the starting point, debriefing of the last 2 days, taking into account the feedback and going into more detail on certain points
- 5 p.m. End of the course
Material to bring for the course:
- a backpack
- a sleeping bag
- hiking clothes (walking shoes, trousers, fleece)
- a spare pair of socks
- a raincoat, a pair of gloves, a hat
- a water bottle or flask of waterplastic water bottle
- bowl, spoon and glass (preferably metal)
- headlamp
- pair of sunglasses, hat
- knife
- soap and towel
- rubbish bag
Cameras, GoPro and SIM-free phones are permitted.
It is possible that the activity will take place in Mortcerf (77): in this case, the instructor will contact you and give you the meeting point, which is in the car park in front of Mortcerf town hall (77163).
The price is for a group of 1 to 10 people but if you are more numerous, you can contact us for specific quotes.
