Practical information

Dive into adventure at the Inferno Canyon - a thrilling half-day experience through the most spectacular gullies of the Lleida Pyrenees, with jumps, rappels, and swims between towering 100-meter cliffs.

Course of events

This activity has a total duration of approximately 4 hours.

  • Check-in at reception, receive instructions and all necessary equipment
  • Drive your own car from the activity centre to the starting point of the activity
  • Gear up with the guide: wetsuit, windbreaker jacket, neoprene socks, helmet, GoPro helmet mount, harnesses, carabiners and anchors depending on the state of the canyon
  • Safety briefing, then walk to the canyon entrance
  • Cross the Noguera Pallaresa River by walking, swimming or zipline (depending on the season)
  • Hike uphill for about 30 minutes to reach the canyon entrance
  • Final gear check and last safety instructions before entering the canyon
  • Begin descent of the Barranc de l’Infern, surrounded by 160-meter high cliffs
  • Enjoy a technical and varied descent including 4 rappels (9 m, 20 m, 1 m, 7 m), as well as natural slides, small ribs, and an optional siphon
  • End of the descent with a second crossing of the river
  • Drive back to the centre
Activity requirements

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity. You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity.

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
