Practical information
One-hour excursion to higher ground for a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding area: the Blue Lagoon, the volcanic craters of Svartsengi, the Fagradalsfjall mountain, the Geldingadalir volcano and, if the sky is clear, the island of Eldey
- Meeting with the instructor at the base (or pick-up in Grindavík or Blue Lagoon, to be arranged with the instructor once your booking has been confirmed)
- Distribution of equipment, followed by a briefing on the tour, safety instructions and quad driving
- Departure for the one-hour excursion into the mountains: you will reach a summit to enjoy incredible views of the entire Reykjanes peninsula
- Return to the base and end of the activity
Minimum driving age: 18 years old
A physical valid driver’s license is compulsory.
A pick-up in Reykjavík or Keflavík can be arranged with the instructor, at an additional cost payable on the spot: once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor to arrange your pick-up (either between 9.30 and 10 a.m. for the morning excursion, or between 1.30 and 2 p.m. for the afternoon excursion).
The price of the activity is per quad, not per person. A quad can carry up to 2 people (Driver + Adult passenger - from 13 years old OR Child passenger - from 6 to 12 years old).
