Practical information
You'll be paddling for around 4h30 and spending a total of between 6 and 8h on the water.
It's quite a challenging route. You'll enter the nature reserve straight away, to discover one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe: the Ardèche Gorges, with their exceptional landscapes and limestone cliffs. At the heart of a protected, unspoilt area where you can observe extraordinary flora and fauna.
- Meeting point at the Aigue Vive Ardèche Canoe base
- Equipment for participants
- Transfer by bus to the starting point in Sampzon
- Start of the 24km descent of the Ardèche gorges for around 4h30-5h, but you can keep the canoe for the day.
- Option to swim and picnic if you wish
- Return transfer once you have completed your descent. Please note that the return trip departs at 4 or 5 pm.
- De-equipping and end of activity
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
You must know how to swim.
Children aged 7 - 11 can come with 2 adults in a canoe (extra fees to pay onsite).
