Practical information
You'll paddle for 1.5 hour, and you can keep the canoe for 2, 3 or 4 hours.
You'll cross some small rapids and pass under the famous Pont d'Arc. You'll be able to discover the activity in a very fun way and take advantage of the free time to swim, sunbathe and even have a picnic. This descent is particularly suitable if you're a first-timer or if you're going with young children.
This route allows you to take advantage of the riverside beaches for a swim. Paddle under the famous Pont d'Arc to reach the landing stage at Châmes.
- Meeting point at the Aigue Vive Ardèche Canoe base
- Equipment for participants
- Transfer by bus to the start of the trip
- Start of the 8km, 1? hour descent of the Ardèche gorges, but you can keep the canoe for half the day.
- Swimming available if you wish
- Transfer back once you have completed your descent. Please note that the return journey takes place at peak times from 10am to 6pm.
- De-equipping and end of activity
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
You must know how to swim.
Children aged 7 - 11 can come with 2 adults in a canoe (extra fees to pay onsite).
