Practical information
An introductory 9-hour course done over the period of 3 days (3 days x 3 hours per day).
Course of events
- Arrive at the starting point at Kremasti Beach
- Meet the certified instructor
- Receive the equipment (kite, board and bars) and safety briefing
- Learn about the theory of kitesurfing, wind conditions, safety regulations, and how to set up the equipment
- Practice body dragging and learning kite control with a practice kite on the beach
- Practice in the water with the instructor
- Learn how to waterstart, stand up on the board, and ride
- Return to the starting point at Kremasti Beach
Activity requirements
Basic swimming skills are required for this activity.
