Rio Selvano Canyon
Practical information
The path is made of natural slides and dives that are never compulsory.
Keep in mind that there are 4 compulsory abseils on the rope.
A flotation vest could be booked on request.
You will be accompanied by professional, expert Canyon Guides, with certification issued by the Italian Association of Canyon Guides or with equivalent certification.
All the necessary progression techniques will be explained.
Fun is guaranteed for young and old!
Approach hike: 25 min hiking or 10 minutes by car
Return hike: 5 minutes
Highest abseil: up to 12m
- Meeting point at SP37, 14, 55020 Fabbriche di Vergemoli
- Introduction and distribution of all the technical equipment useful for the excursion
- Transfer up to the high parking lot, 3 minutes far from the first plunge of the Rio Selvano
- Safety and activity briefing and go!- Return to the meeting point
- If you wear eyeglasses, you need to tie them or wear contact lenses
- Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity
- No heart, respiratory or allergic issues that are incompatible with physical exertion and with the canyoning environment
- Canyoning boots can be rented at 10€ per person, to be requested after booking
