Practical information
The full Rio Verde Canyon excursion is perfect for adrenaline junkies with some experience in canyoning or in good physical condition, because its difficulty is medium-high.
This excursion consists of a full descent of the Río Verde, in which you will begin in the Cabrerizas Fountain, and then you'll make your way until you arrive at the end of the lower section known as Junta de los Ríos.
- Arrival at meeting point and introduction to your instructors
- Safety and activity briefing
- Walk for 15 minutes to the beginning of the canyon
- Canyon descent for 3 hours and 30 minutes
- 1-hour return to the starting point
All participants must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water.
Minors must have authorization from their parents.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity. All participants must be able to hike a 6km distance.
If you suffer from vertigo (not fear of heights), canyoning is not necessarily recommended.
Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.
