This spectacular canyoning excursion in Ticino is a sporty adventure in Boggera Canyon by helicopter from Cresciano!

  • Abseils up to 45 metres
  • Jumps of up to 16 metres
Course of events

Please allow for a whole day for this activity, including 6 to 7 hours of canyoning.

  • Meet your guide at the activity base.
  • Equipment and activity briefing.
  • Start with a short but spectacular helicopter flight from the Lodrino airbase to the landing zone at an elevation near 1100 meters.
  • Canyoning excursion for 6 to 7 hours.
  • Debriefing.
  • Fight back to the activity base.
Activity requirements

All participants must have previous canyoning experience or must have attended an abseil training class with certified guides (usually scheduled for the evening before the tour, additional cost of 50 CHF).

They also must:

  • Be a master of active abseiling
  • Be in very good physical condition
  • Have very good swimming skills
  • Be sure-footed
  • Not suffer from vertigo

A minimum number of 4 participants is required to run this activity.

  • Personal medications such as asthma spray, epi-pen, or allergy medication
  • Compact waterproof camera or GoPro action camera (at your own risk)
